My Desire Has Had The Momentum Of Hunger
Dominique Banoun and Andrew de Lotbinière Harwood
1995, 18:00 minutes, colour
TAPECODE 324.04
This premiered at Tangente (Montreal), in the spring of 1995, as part of an evening of solos entitled The Momentum of Hunger, choreographed and performed by Andrew de Lotbinière Harwood.
Using forms which impress an immediacy of experience, Harwood develops a collage of raw materials transformed over a period of time. The dance speaks on many levels. Serving this drama of gestures, music, lighting and decor are woven into a coherent whole, at once a distillation and an experience of nature.
