Scale

1995, 12:00 minutes

TAPECODE 10232

The presence of a human figure, even tiny and ill-defined, seems to alter our perception of the space around it. Even at the border of abstraction, the human figure is like a scale inside the image, a reference, an indication for the way we read it. Movement, line, texture and contrast are used to probe the relationship between the figures and the surrounding landscapes.
Scale is a tribute to the artists who have worked on this theme and specially to Giacometti.
