Made with the cooperation of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, this program describes in compelling detail the way invasion, disease, dependence on trade, broken treaties, inter-tribal war and rebellion all combined to effectively destroy the Native American Nations and culture. Reconstructions of the circumstances and events that led to colonization, the development of trade and the establishment of a new order, combined with a detailed and sensitive narration to vividly bring a significant part of our country's history to life.
