Two beautiful, androgynous youths in violent seizures as they eternally attempt in vain to kiss. Between them, they pass back and forth the object of desire, a colt .45 automatic hand gun. This modern revolver a puppet and mimicry of the two as they revolve in power over one another. The screen cropped tightly causing the two heads to pulse with epileptic shudders. The animated frames matched to an animated frames matched to an animated soundtrack of high power scanners, sweeping at various speeds. Lingering static fingerprints on the monitor suggest the animation of the frames is a series of painstakingly captured flatbed scans. The resulting work defies simple categorization, being a hybrid of video, animation and experimental photography.
