The Alien Seaman

Gary Kibbins

1998, 20:00 minutes, B&W, English

TAPECODE 049.11

A sailor was born when the Halifax harbour exploded in 1917 and died in the Texas City Harbour explosion of 1947. Traumatized by the circumstances of his birth, he seeks to eliminate the conditions which produced the Halifax explosion by reversing cause and effect. But by annulling that explosion he may also annul his own birth; the possible world which would not include the Halifax explosion, nay, also not include him.
