Next Question is an experimental portrait of the relationship between a young man describing his life and his desire to leave rural Nova Scotia, and a woman (the videomaker) who is interviewing him. He talks about speed, escape, and crossing borders, but his words are interpreted through her eyes, which often contest what he's describing. Next Question starts out as a documentary, but as the piece proceeds, the young man's story is taken over by the interviewer's questioning.
