This piece shot at the video maker's 'Los Serpientes' at 'Land's End' (Mexico), takes one on an imagistic journey (through metaphor and interplay of co-incident selections from the music of Eno/Byrne - 'My Life in the Bush of Ghosts') from shipwreck to bone totems, from totem to dance, a dance with the 'Old Men of Sagauro groves, to an intense stroboscopic sequence pitting the voice of a Christian 'exorcist' against the spirit 'of possession'. A futile but sadistic chant. One is to be reminded of how catholic conquistadors decimated and nearly wiped out the wisdom and the 'old ways' of the brujos and the desert, as if a continuation of the inquisition of Europe...
