Scott Treleaven

2002, 02:56 minutes, colour, English

TAPECODE 521.10

Beastboy is an angelic homage to British poet, mountain climber, poet, satirist and mystic, Aleister Crowley.

The audio includes Aleister Crawley intoning the Call of the First and Second Aethyrs of the Enochian Calls. Of the thirty calls, the first two
are meant to conjure spirits. Enochian is an occult language or languages, who 16th century English occultists John Dee and Edward Kelley claim was delivered to them directly by various angels.

Featuring music by Andrew Cecil, The Electric Newspaper, and The Great Beast himself. Commissioned for the InsideOut Festival's 'Admiration' series, curated by Peter
Kingstone.
