19 is a roughly two-minute, experimental documentary. In it, the FBI "mug shots" of the nineteen suspected September 11th hijackers are arranged in a loop where each photograph is held on the screen for one frame, resulting in the illusion of one, constantly fluctuating face. Combined with the soundtrack of airport PA's, jet engines, etc., the viewing experience has been described as eerie and haunting.
