Slangblossom is a Native American hip-hop outfit, whose members Daybi, P-nut, Wab and DJ Yann Solo are grabbing our attention with conscientious lyrics. Filmed in Montreal, the video inter-cuts shots of the group with a pretty hard-hitting storyline. A middle-aged man wakes up and helps himself to $20 from his wife's purse. He then proceeds to visit the local bar, while his wife packs up and leaves. Stumbling out of the bar, the man is obviously unhappy with his life. At home he dresses himself with traditional Native costume, then collapses outside with a bottle of alcohol. He is approached by an ambiguous shadow that may be a friend or a spirit. In any case, it's good enough to help the man take the first step to improving his life - by throwing away the bottle.
