Drawing on personal experiences of homophobic discrimination as both an adolescent and high school teacher, this work explores the invasive qualities of this reality. Through the juxtaposition of organic and constructed methods of transmission, the viewer is challenged to decipher the need for positive representation of the queer community by visible queer-identified teachers. Throughout, the myth that teachers should not be out with their students and in job interviews is contentiously weaved into discussion.
