This documentary was shot at the World Indigenous Youth Conference held in Waitangi during the Maori Summer of 1998. Aotearoa is the Maori territorial name meaning "Land of the long white cloud." Take a glimpse into the decolonial aspects of Indigenous youth. Through musical performances, celebration, and unity this video highlights the fundamental elements within the WIYC 1998.

Contained within this documentary lies the inspiration and guidance of the Elders, speakers and performers. In addition, this video aims to familiarize the viewer with a taste of Maori culture. This video is intended for an audience of all ages.
