Urban Coyote TeeVee

Chris Bose

2009, 13:50 minutes, colour/B&W, English

Imagine a world where APTN was every channel, and instead of infomercials after midnight, we watched strange, surreal art-house, experimental films like URBAN COYOTE TEEVEE that push and blur our boundaries of existence. Films that take vintage vaudeville “Indian” burlesque, a mysterious roll of colour 1940’s residential juxtaposed with the modern urban coyote’s crazed visions, the cold, robotic apology from the Government of Canada and you get a film ready for the new world and the new century.
