Flashbulb Memory is an exploration of time and memory. A drawn out shot of a young woman with a blinking light in her mouth. A short moment is stretched so every detail is meticulously analyzed. Her coy looks, her eventual discomfort, her doubt. Flashbulb memory pulls from the phenomenon of accident victims being able to remember every single detail of a tragic event, as if it happened in slow motion, etching every detail into their mind. Flashbulb Memory allows the viewer to experience this phenomenon, even if only for a moment.
