Lady and the Tramp

Deirdre Logue

2011, 02:24 minutes, colour

TAPECODE 612.16

This work continues Logue’s interest in self-portraiture and the mirror. Using domestic spaces and familiar objects, Lady and the Tramp troubles gender, voice and intimacy while referencing the boy dog/girl dog spaghetti-eating scene from the Disney classic cartoon of the same name.

Available as a single channel version for any size screen, or as a two-channel version using two monitors, installed face to face.
