This is a documentary about five sisters that reunited in Istanbul after twenty-seven years. Tahereh fled Iran during the war in 1988. She was a refugee in Turkey until she immigrated to Canada and later became an activist. The conversations prompt to memory and a reflection of the past; the war, their letters and the many struggles of a life in exile.
