I Think I Lost It
2018, 10:06 minutes, colour, English
A series of non-narrative interactions with a group of objects including an orbital lounger, a shower curtain printed with an image of a beach scene seen through a window, a lectern on wheels, an LED skin rejuvenation mask, a speech, a self-portrait painted by the artist, and the artist's stomach. Initial scenes drawing from the self (delivering a speech from a lectern, making a painting of one's own face, having a conversation with one's own stomach) devolve into a state of losing oneself, culminating in a sequence where the artist, dressed in a black vinyl sweatsuit, dances and writhes emphatically to the tune of Eminem's Lose Yourself covered by a string quartet.
