As an actor of the decolonial debate I have been trying to look for different perspectives and approaches on the subject in the African continent and in the African diaspora. Besides our critics on the Colonial history, how to deal with colonial iconographies today? Especially when different interpretations are confronted to those iconographies?

The decolonial debate is a madness that produces rich and fruitful forms. Although difficult to grasp, it is an incessant and invigorating flow which, from
Aimé Césaire to Frantz Fanon, from Fela Kuti to Miriam Makeba via Lapiro de Mbanga, finds its bed in the roughness of historical wounds and violence.
