Carolyn Doucette
Born in North Dakota, Carolyn Doucette is an Acadian video and new media artist holding a BFA from the University of Victoria (2004). Her work has screened in Edges Canadian Short Film and Media Arts Festival in Victoria, B.C., 2007, the 7th Annual One Minute Film and Video Festival in Aarau, Switzerland, 2010, Visible Verse film and video festival, Vancouver, B.C., 2010 and the Contemporary Audio-Visual Art Festival (MADATAC) Madrid, Spain, 2010, where Little Plank Walk won the Metropolis MADATAC Award. A dual citizen of Canada and the US, she currently lives on Vancouver Island, British Columbia and is directing an experimental video concerning the connection between humans and nature.
