In this powerful documentary, Jewish activists, elders, and community members share deeply personal testimonies about their heritage, Zionist upbringing, and awakening to Palestinian suffering. Facing fear, shame, and accusations of betrayal, they choose to act, declaring that the pledge of “Never Again” cannot belong to one people alone. Through intimate storytelling, intergenerational dialogue, and moments of collective courage, Never Again for Anyone redefines Jewish identity as a call for universal justice and liberation.
Director’s Statement:
"This documentary was born out of a deep moral urgency. We could no longer stay silent as the phrase 'Never Again'—born from Jewish suffering—was weaponized to justify the perpetration of the suffering of others. Through this film, we sought to create a space for Jewish voices who dare to speak truth to power in our families, among our friends and in our communities, even at personal cost. It is a film about conscience, courage, and solidarity. We hope it reminds audiences everywhere that liberation must be for all people, or it is not liberation at all."
The members of the team and the film's participants function as a collective, each contributing their skills and experience to this project. All are proficient in their professional capacities, and each participate in Palestinian and/or Anti Racist activities in their communities. Each and all are members of a broader movement for social justice and human rights.
