Fleshold is a pictorial documentary that probes the neo-primitive, and spiritual realm of body-piercing. Non-judgmental in its stance, this work allows the emotions and experiences of the participants to radiate from the images themselves. The audience, entranced by the rhythmic pulse of the soundtrack, profoundly relives these sensations through a combination of animated still photography, film, and video. Fleshold is not for the squeamish, but for the squeamish in everyone of us.
