t v i is an anthology of video poems and live performances by W. Mark Sutherland from 1986 to 1994. This video can be considered as both a historical document and a work in progress (subsequent video poems and live performances will be added to t v i over the course of the artist's lifetime). In its present format, t v i is 28 minutes long and features seven different video poems or sequences: Insects Not Poetry; The Abysmal Legacy of Metropolis, When The Death Squads Come I Will Sing To Your Absent Heart; (Visual) Aids; Live in Villfranca Italy 1994; The Oxygen Apocalypse and Mute Poem.
These video poems and performances can be screened as individual segments or as an anthology spanning the first eight years of this ongoing cross-disciplinary project.
