Just Say Yes: Kathy High Looks at Marketing Legal Drugs
1989, 30:00 minutes, English
In a series of campy and raw performances, the Paper Tiger TV Collective has once again debunked the marketing ploys of another institution - pharmaceutical companies. Just Say Yes: Kathy High Looks at Marketing Legal Drugs presents a hard-hitting and playful critique of pharmaceutical advertisements and the varied persuasions to buy drugs. These drugs may be legal, but the push to sell them is astounding - bringing fortunes to pharmaceuticals rather than health to the people. Such questionable activities as pharmaceutical companies "dumping drugs" internationally, giving perks to doctors, and masking side-effects of drugs in illegibly fine print are all ranted about by Kathy High and her cohorts Prescription Pill and Dr. Doctor. When was the last time you went for a doctor's appointment and left without a prescription?
