A video-operatic allegory inspired by the Greek poet Hesiod mistaking Rhea's womb of re-birth for a box of evils attributed to Pandora. The black box of media technology traps our image of the heroine, the street-wise, sometimes bitchy, and always enduring anima of humankind in the continuum of frustration, demonstration and humour.
"Video Opera" refers specifically to the soundtrack innovation "Word Music" (c) by Steven Heimbecker, in which the spoken text, through computer sequencing, creates the music.
