The emancipation of a woman from the confinement of her environment takes her through a rite of passage. She is guided by a host of environmental characters.
Still Point is a collaborative work between a painter/sculptor and two video artists. The tape originated as a result of the painted sculptures and masks produced by Charlott Wilson-Hammond, and the environment in which she lives and where the tape was shot: Clam Harbour, Nova Scotia. Still Point is also part of an installation with the sculptures and masks.
