The kettle hasn't been working lately, maybe its broken, maybe it's over used or maybe it's just naughty!..
Using a blend of appliance-sex-fantasy images, interrupted by scenes of domestic mundaneness,
desire asserts the potential of the absurd to fuck with ideological constructions of sexuality. Through the mass media the visual language of women's sexuality has been codified, standardized under a male gaze. While this alienates woman, it also attracts them, the male gaze has become the female gaze. The object of desire holds no power, it is the gaze itself which enables the fantasy. The bounty of bizarre conclusions that women's fetishization of themselves within their own fantasies only starts with the kettle. You'll never see porn the same way again.
