The 19th century Gateway to Canada: Grosse Ile Quarantine Station, 25 miles downstream from Quebec City. Focusing on Nora Taylor and her family, the video documents the words of Doctor Douglas, Priests, Government Agents and other players in this tragic chapter of the Irish diaspora to British North America.
Nora at Grosse Ile is a dramatic recreation of the Quebec quarantine through which the Irish Famine Emigrants came in 1847.
