An experimental documentary about artificial languages. There have been over two thousand inverted languages, of which only a handful are still spoken in the world. Using interviews with the speakers of Volapiik, Ido, Interglossa and Esperanto and rare archive material, "language lessons" examines the history and present state of the artificial language movement. Along the way, the video looks at the bizarre history of languages such as Logopandecteisian, Lips Kith and the musical language Solresoe.
