today presents a series of portrait-like vignettes in which solitary teenagers (members of high-school debating clubs) debate the proposal "Today is a good day to die." Each teenager is shown alone in a urban setting - be it a highschool hallway or on a busy city street - where they speak out loud but to no specific person. In these confessional monologues they engage in solitary debates about life and death at a young age.
