In response to a newspaper ad that reads, "Must be able to cry for 20 min. Call 858.344.3341.", an actor sits on a couch and prepares to cry for 20 minutes. He listens to songs from his past for inspiration. This couch has a history. Various things have slipped between the cushions. Intersecting relationships emerge between the actor, couch, spectators, and objects lost under the pillows. Later, spectators watch his performance seated on the same couch.
