Ian Jarvis

Ian Jarvis aka Toilet Boy is a Toronto based artist, drag queen and sexual activist. Working with "partner in crime" David Collins he has produced numerous short videos that have appeared in festivals from Toronto, Berlin, New York to Sydney, Australia. Always with savvy and wit, Ian's work is done with a campy yet in your face style. Exposing queer sexuality, identity, violence and abuse form both a political and personal viewpoint. Along with his video work Ian has worked extensively as a visual artist, having shown in numerous gallery settings. Ian is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art & Design and hold an ever active certificate in cosmetology.
